The Freque - cisheteropatriarchy is a pillar of colonialism that violently impacts all people by polarizing integral parts of our being. This article is about the spiritual suicide that takes place when we repress of feminine energy, focusing on the svadisthana aka sacral chakra and the importance of its liberation for personal wellness.

The Mighty - an article on colorism and its impact on my mental health & wellness as a young person

GODDESS II - published digitally by Viciouss Productions, GODDESS II serves a medium to explore identity & intimacy as a form of bodily & autonomy reclamation from a system that would have the artist between its teeth, this work centers on unearthing Darling’s sense of Self that existed prior to the violent brutality of indoctrination into the Western colonial paradigm.

Sad Girls Club - having served as the Resident Astrologer for Sad Girls Club for 1.5 years, Vie created an Intention Setting Guide & Manifestation Planner for the Black woman-led 501(c)(3) non-profit that is totally free of charge

Interjection Calendar 004 - For the June contribution to the 12-part publication, Darling created GODDESS I, a compendium of black & white 35mm film photos and heartfelt poems that are equally ethereal and dark, hitting hard while remaining gossamer soft. GODDESS I explores the curious space of first love that can completely dissolve ones sense of self while simultaneously reforming ones identity.

The Only Thing That’s New Is Us - as a Montez Press x Mathew Gallery fellow, Darling contributed a set portraits featuring two of the main characters from the novel they wrote in high school. The characters serve as vehicles for the extrapolation of self as well as beacons of Afrofuturist motifs.

Clarity X NYC

Clarity X exists at the intersection of art, education, and community organizing. By reimagining the function and structure of social/cultural institutions, we have formed a vehicle for the sacred practice of creation. Clarity X is a multi-faceted, cross-platform media institution founded by multidisciplinary creative, abolitionist, and educator, Vie Darling.

The mission of Clarity X is to provide those of like mind, heart, and spirit support in facilitating their own reintegration and liberation by providing information, space, and resources with tremendous love and care in as equitable a manner as possible. Our intention is to be of service to the Collective by mindfully anchoring a decolonized, Earth-integrated vision of the future in the here and now. We do this by using art as a vehicle for reconciliation of self, environment, and the Collective. We aim to find new and innovative ways to break down barriers to fulfillment.

Our intention with Clarity X is to decentralize the focus of art on the institution and money, democratizing the culture of art by making non-commercialized art to interact with and experience within the confines of safe(r) and respectful engagement as people see fit.

The Aetherium — The Aetherium started initially as VCSS SKIN and became Clarity Apothecary, which was Vie’s way of providing more people with a little bit of magick, starting with their crystal-charged, quadruple-whipped body butters. Vie wanted to expand the product line from just body butters and skincare products to myriad other healing helpers, such as herbal remedies.

Cosmic Crystal Clarity is not just a lifestyle. It’s a Way of Being. This holistic health practice is rooted in Vie’s Cosmic Wellness practice that integrates our Cosmic reality into the narrative of our Existence and Being. This serves as the foundation of the wellness space & apothecary that are being crystallized now.

After graduating from their BFA at Hunter College, Vie realized the need to merge the Apothecary and the oracular offerings they made. After spending years building sanctuaries, temples, and other sacred spaces, Vie decided to do this by creating a digital and in-person container which they named the Aetherium.

Clarity Care Network Care networks started as a radical healthcare democratization project by the legendary American, pro-Black revolutionary group, Black Panthers. Clarity Care Network is the not-for-profit, grassroots organization started by Vie through Viciouss Pro that prioritizes preventative care by providing radical solutions to radical problems free of cost to our Community, making health and wellness equitable to disenfranchised communities all over the country. With the uprisings surrounding the murders of Black people, white supremacy, and injustice in the United States (and worldwide), we have been providing care kits including first aid supplies and snacks, as well as riot gear to protestors, centering our focus on providing as much support to Black self-identifying women and trans people on the ground.
